The long-awaited launch of the Galaxy S3 phone has arrived, and Android users are singing its praises. The reviews on this phone give it 5 stars. The phone, for all of its advancements in smartphone technology, needs one thing to make it aesthetically more appealing: a metal back instead of a plastic one.

What makes this phone so much more in demand than even the Apple iphone 4s? Here are the features that set it apart from all of the other Android phones-and even the Iphone 4s:

The Galaxy S3 is running on the Android's Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the latest version. The screen size is the largest on the market at 4.8 inches. In comparison, the Apple iphone 4s has a screen size of 3.5 inch, and HTC One X has a screen size of 4.7 inches.

Comparing the processor to the other competitors leaves them in the dust. The Galaxy S3 has the 1.4 Ghz quad-core Exynos processor-the fastest processor on the market. This allows the phone to play 1080p movies at a very fast speed, and can even play them in another window while surfing the web. None of the other competitors can match this speed and screen quality.

Since most smartphone users want extra storage, the Galaxy S3 does not disappoint. With the micro SD slot, the Galaxy S3 is expandable to 64 GB. The next competitor, the HTC One X is expandable to 32 GB. The Apple iphone 4s offers 64 GB, but not in an expandable option, which means you pay extra for the storage.

The Galaxy S3 boasts an 8 megapixel front and rear facing camera like the competitors. It also has a nice feature called Facelock. It can lock and unlock the phone by recognizing the owner's picture. No competitor has this feature.

Apple boasts the Siri voice-activated browser and task manager. The Galaxy S3 has its own version called S Voice.

The battery in the Galaxy S3 is 2100 mAh. Comparing it to the HTC One X which has a 1800 mAh, and the Apple iphone 4s with a 1432 mAh, it far outlasts either of these. The Galaxy S3 has a removable battery so that there can always be a spare rather than rely on a plug-in charger. No other competitor offers this feature.

The competition will have to work hard to measure up to the technologically advanced Galaxy S3.
